Wether "right-or-wrong" seems irrelevant...and questions of the "inappropriateness" of his gesture are null and void in the face of Bush's government-terror.
The truth is, he couldn't have written anything for the news-desk that would have gotten more circulation than this. I just kinda hope he's a decent journalist on top of it all...and I look forward to reading what he eventually ends up writing about it.
Are the rumors of his incognito detention true? What can be done?

Right or wrong, it's JUST a shoe!

I don't care if there's any symbolic meaning, it probably wouldn't have hurt Bush even if it hit him, and it DIDN'T hit him!

Said reporter should have been escorted out of the press conference, told he was a VERY naughty boy, then told to go home and maybe not come back until he's slept on it!

And if he did come back he might have been worthy of a stern talking to...

But a trial??? FFS! What OVERKILL!

Any president shouldnt be treated like the way bush was treated but none of the earlier presidents have caused so much of trouble to any other sovereign state, therefore a shoe or a bullet in his head, justifies the anger of not only the brave guy but also he represents thousand of families who've been assaulted, murdered, killed what ever u can think of.
Bush's policies were unhumane and hence he has to accept all the hatred people have for him.

Amnesty International should be helping the journalist. And Human Rights Watch. Are they?
